Olivola is a tiny village, located in the Monferrato hills about 20 km from Casale Monferrato, and represents a small oasis that seems to have stood still in time together with its inhabitants and homes sculpted in canton stone. It is certainly a refuge in which to find tranquillity and silence, thanks also to the small number of villagers; in fact, it is considered one of the smallest towns in Italy. But Olivola's charm goes beyond this, as it is located in a postcard-like setting, with its typical tuff and cornerstone houses, colourful shutters, flowers and the Unesco heritage hills providing the backdrop.
